Do I need council approval for an extension?+
Most extensions in NSW need either a Complying Development Certificate or full Development Approval through your council. Some very small additions may qualify as exempt development. We'll point you at the right path early — before we start pricing — so there are no nasty surprises when it comes time to build.
How long does an extension take to build?+
A modest single-room extension typically takes 8–14 weeks on site once approvals are in place. Larger additions with second-storey work or complex roof tie-ins can run longer. We'll set out a realistic program as part of the quote.
Can you match the extension to my existing home?+
Yes — matching profiles, cladding, floor levels and roof pitch is a big part of what we do. Where an exact match isn't practical, we'll suggest a considered contrast that still reads as part of the same house rather than an obvious tack-on.
